For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life....He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (John 3:16,18)

Here is Hope for Your Eternity!

The following is an explanation of man, his condition now, how he got that way, and the way to be redeemed from death unto life. Man sins not because he does bad things, he sins because he is a sinner. He is born of sin and cannot be good enough to make his own way into heaven. Sure, there are some that are better than others, but all that does not matter. You see, even if you could be perfect in all your ways; the sin in your flesh still has to be dealt with. Through God, even the Lord Jesus Christ, is the only way man can become worthy of the kingdom of God. The following is what happened, what was done, and what you need to do about it.

In the beginning God created Adam and Eve, but they sinned against God in the garden of Eden. This "fall" as it is called, happened when Adam and Eve ate the fruit they were commanded not to. At that point in time sin entered into man (Rom 5:12-15), he was no longer innocent. Among other things, the penalty was death (Rom 6:23), that is, they would no longer live forever as they were created to be. They died that day in the garden in the sense that their eternal spirit died, therefore, it was just a matter of time for the flesh to return to the earth. (Gen 3)

God is a fair and just and holy God and sin cannot dwell in his presence; the sin is destroyed which means you in your present condition. Man is already doomed for hell because of his sin. (Rom 5:12; John 3:18; Rom 5:15) Everybody is a sinner. (Rom 3:23) A price has to be paid by God's law in order to pay for the debt of sin. Under the old testament sin offerings were made, blood sacrifices to "cover" the sin (Heb 9:11-16), but is was not an everlasting payment (10:14) and continually had to be done (Heb 10:1-5). God offered us a much better testament, not only for the Jew, his chosen people, but for the Gentile, (all others) also. (Heb 8:6)

God sent his only Son to die for our sins on the cross (John 3:16). He took our place so that we would have a way out of hell (Luke 16:19-31). God does not send anybody to hell and does not will it. He wills that every man should get saved (John 3:17; 2 Pet 3:9). When man rejects the free offer (Rom 3:24) of believing that Christ Jesus died in his place (Rom 5:6-8) he cannot escape the reality of hell (Heb 2:3; Rev 14:11).

It is your choice. I would really hate to see you end up in hell. There will be a lot of very nice people busting the gates of hell wide open because they rejected Jesus Christ (John 3:18, 1 Cor 15:3-4). There will be others that are saved and did not live such a great life, even a wicked life, but they will be in heaven because they accepted his Son Jesus! (1 Cor 3:15; 5:1,5; Eph 2:8-9) There is no other name under heaven by which man can be saved (Acts 4:10-12). The Pope, Budha, Allah, a pastor, Mohammed, a priest, yourself, a Baptist, a Catholic, a Mormon, a Jehovah Witness can save you from eternal damnation. There is not any other way than through Jesus into heaven. It is in Him and Him alone. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." John 14:6

You might ask, "What about all the other religions of the world?" Christianity is not like any other religion. In all other religions, man is trying to get to God. In Christianity, God came to man! You must understand, the question is not what about the Muslims, what about the Catholics, what about the Baptists, and so on. The question you face is, "What are you going to do with Jesus?" No preacher, pope, prophet, priest, church, religion, man, and so on matters! What matters is, what are you going to do with Jesus? That is what you will be asked come judgment day! God will ask, why he should let you into heaven? The only answer that will get you in will be, because I believed in your Son Jesus, that he died on the cross for my sins, and it is nothing that I did or could have done. Only belief in the one that died for you on the cross will matter at that time! What will you do with Jesus?

If you truly believe in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, then you can settle your account with God right now by accepting the Lord Jesus Christ as your personally Savior. Once again, what are you going to do with Jesus? (Acts 16:30-31) If you are ready to accept this great and powerful salvation, then you can pray to God and ask him. It is that simple. You can use the prayer below or simply just ask Him who is an able.

"Oh, God, I know that I am a sinner and I know that need to be forgiven. I want to turn from my state of unbelief and try to live a life you would want me to live. I cannot live a good enough life on my own to go to heaven. I am trusting and believing Your word when you said that Jesus came and died in my place. I believe that He was buried and that He rose again from the dead for me. I now receive Him as my Savior and forgiveness for my sins. Thank you for Your mercy, forgiveness, and everlasting life. Amen."

Hopefully, you can now say with the apostle Paul and other born again Christians, "Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me." (Acts 27:25)

If you don't understand and need help with this, just ask me, at anytime and I will rejoice in discussing it with you.

The hymn playing or that played, Just as I Am, was the one sung when the invitation was given for me to get saved in 1966. It is very, very special to me! I truly pray and hope that it will become special for you. Jesus wants you just as you are: no works, no certain church affiliation, not somebody in place of you. You cannot be good enough to make it to heaven and you cannot be bad enough to go to hell. Once again, belief in the Lord Jesus Chirst according to the gospel of Jesus Christ is the only way you will make it to heaven for eternity! He wants you no matter how much you feel like he won't have you, perhaps because of the life you have been living. He wants your heart, body mind, and soul, as is, no questions asked (although He already knows). He can and will make a difference in your life!

Won't you get saved right now? This could be your last chance. None of us are promised the next breath we take. Won't you get saved right now? Friend, won't you give your heart and life to Jesus, now? Please, I beg you, please don't harden your heart! Please, don't pass this opportunity up; it may be your last!

Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law. Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come. But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many. (Rom 5:12-15) Back

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Rom 6:23) Back

Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden. And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou? And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself. And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat? And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat. And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat. (Genesis 3:1-13) Back

Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: (Rom 3:24) Back

Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:...He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God....But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many. (Romans 5:12; John 3:18; Romans 5:15) Back

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; (Rom 3:23) Back

But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. (Hebrews 9:11-16) Back

For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect. For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins. But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year. For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins. Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me: (Heb 10:1-5) Back

But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises. (Heb 8:6) Back

There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house: For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead. (Luke 16:19-31) Back

For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. (Rom 5:6-8) Back

How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him; (Heb 2:3) Back

And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. (Rev 14:11) Back

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16) Back

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (John 3:17) Back

He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (John 3:18) Back

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. (2 Pet 3:9) Back

For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: (1 Cor 15:3-4) Back

If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire....It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife...To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus....For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. (1 Cor 3:15; 1 Cor 5:1,5; Eph 2:8-9) Back

Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. (Acts 4:10-12) Back

And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. (Acts 16:30-31) Back
